Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana
National Weather Service Great Falls MT
356 AM MST Fri Nov 28 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Widespread snowfall is expected across Central and North Central
Montana today, with most lower elevation locations seeing 2-6
inches of snowfall through this evening. Behind this system, an
arctic air mass will push its way into the area, bringing the
coldest air of the season so far with some subzero low
temperatures. Temperatures moderate a bit Sunday and Monday, but
our next chance for snowfall arrives on Tuesday.
