Warning for low humidity, gusty northwest winds, and moderate
significant fire potential expected this afternoon.

EVENING FOR INTERIOR PORTIONS OF WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
FLORIDA...

The National Weather Service in Tampa Bay Ruskin has issued a Red
Flag Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 6 PM EST this
evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AFFECTED AREA...Sumter, Polk, Hardee, Highlands, DeSoto,
  Inland Levy, Inland Charlotte and Inland Lee.

* TIMING...From noon today to 6 PM EST this evening.

* WINDS...Northwest around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 29 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and dry fuels can contribute
to extreme fire behavior.
