At 1115 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,
capable of producing winds to around 35 knots. These thunderstorms
were located along a line extending from 23 nm southwest of Anna
Maria Island to 42 nm southwest of Longboat Pass to 67 nm southwest
of Longboat Key, moving east at 40 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 35 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
