Gulf coastal waters from Bonita Beach to the mouth of the
Suwannee River out to 60 NM.

Important notice to mariners...marine forecasts are issued at
least four times a day. Boaters on extended trips should
routinely monitor subsequent forecast issuances and updates for
the latest marine weather information.

The wave heights are forecast as significant wave height which is
the average of the highest one-third of the waves. The highest
waves may rarely be twice the significant wave height. The winds
and seas near thunderstorms may be higher than forecast.

Synopsis for the coastal waters from Bonita Beach to Suwannee River-
305 PM EST Wed Jan 8 2025

.SYNOPSIS...
High pressure over the central U.S. will move into the southeast
U.S. over the next couple of days. This will produce north-
northeast winds and rain-free conditions for the next couple of
days. The next weather system will move through the eastern gulf
waters late Friday into Saturday bringing the next round of
showers and a few thunderstorms to the area. Increasing southerly
winds to Exercise Caution will also be possible ahead of and in
the vicinity of the front along with building seas for Friday
evening through Saturday afternoon. Clearing conditions,
decreasing winds and abating seas expected by Sunday.
