.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

A moderate risk of rip currents is forecast today with light winds
and surf at or less than 2 feet. Southerly winds, especially in the
afternoon with the seabreeze, develop on Thursday and Friday which
will likely lead to a high risk of rip currents at Walton/Bay
counties. Stronger southerly flow ahead of our next round of severe
weather this weekend brings a high risk to all area beaches Saturday
and Sunday.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:

State Park Gulf Beaches.......RED
West Facing Gulf Beaches......YELLOW
South Facing Gulf Beaches.....YELLOW
