Surf Zone Forecast
National Weather Service Tallahassee FL
507 AM EDT Sun Jul 6 2025

.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

The rip current risk will be in the moderate level over the next
couple days. By Tuesday and Wednesday, portions of the Emerald Coast
and Saint Joseph Peninsula are forecast to get into the upper end of
the moderate risk, with a low probability of a high risk at this time.
One of the contributing factors will be high to low tide variations
near maximums. Otherwise, the main weather concern at the beaches will
be chances for thunderstorms each day, with a potential for frequent
lightning and sudden, gusty winds.
