451 FZUS52 KTAE 100939 SRFTAE Surf Zone Forecast National Weather Service Tallahassee FL 439 AM EST Fri Jan 10 2025 .THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK... Dangerous swimming conditions will quickly develop this morning, as the onset of southerly gales over the Gulf waters this morning brings the fairly sudden arrival of high surf along the coast. Winds will turn westerly and northwesterly behind a cold front this evening, but it will take until about Sunday afternoon to ease the high risk of rip currents. Beyond Sunday, cold northerly offshore winds will hold the rip current risk in the low to moderate category.
