A High Risk of Rip Currents is in effect for all Gulf Beaches through Monday evening. Showers with embedded thunderstorms will also pose a lightning and gusty wind hazard from today into tonight. In addition, a High Surf Advisory may be needed on Monday for the Bay and West- facing Gulf County beaches, as surf heights could approach 6 feet. The High Risk of Rip Currents may need to be extended from Monday evening through Tuesday evening for the Bay and West-facing Gulf County beaches, while a moderate risk of rip currents returns for the remainder of the Gulf Beaches.
