A High risk of rip currents is expected to continue at all of the gulf beaches today as a residual long period onshore swell keeps surf in the 3 to 4 foot range. A return to a moderate risk of rip currents should by Wednesday afternoon. The rip current risk may increase to high again on Friday, mainly along the Emerald beaches, as onshore flow increases ahead an approaching cold front.
