...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN WAKULLA...
NORTHWESTERN TAYLOR...WESTERN JEFFERSON AND SOUTHEASTERN LEON
COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM EDT...

At 229 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Tallahassee to near St. Marks. Movement
was northeast at 30 mph. The Tallahassee Airport recently gusted to
31 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tallahassee, Woodville, Monticello, Florida State University, Florida
A and M, Wakulla, Alma, Cody, Tallahassee Memorial Hosp, Walker Ford
Community Center, Miccosukee, South City, Drifton, Governors Square
Mall, Natural Bridge, Midtown, Lake Miccosukee, Apalachee Ridge
Estates, Levy Park, and Indian Head Acres.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
