The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a
* Special Marine Warning for...
Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...
* Until 230 PM EDT.
* At 1257 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 12 nm southeast of V Tower to 26 nm southeast of S
Tower to 53 nm south of C Tower, moving east at 10 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make
sure all on board are wearing life jackets.
* Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
