...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM EDT /2 AM CDT/ EARLY THIS
MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of the Big Bend and Panhandle of Florida,
  including the following counties, Franklin, Liberty, and Gulf.

* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT /200 AM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 107 AM EDT /1207 AM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and
    3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Eastpoint, Franklin, Fort Gadsden, Sumatra, Buck Siding,
    Beverly, Willis Landing, Hays Place, Creels, Kern, High Bluff
    and Green Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
