...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 PM EST THIS
EVENING FOR EASTERN BROOKS AND LOWNDES COUNTIES...

At 917 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Valdosta, Lake Park, Hahira, I-75 At Exit 16, Moody Air Force
  Base, Remerton, Dasher, Kinderlou, Valdosta Regional Airport, I-75
  At Exit 22, I-75 At Exit 11, Clyattville, Blue Springs, I-75 At
  Exit 29, Twin Lakes, I-75 At Exit 5, Barretts and Nankin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
