The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of southeast Alabama,
including the following areas, Coffee and Dale and south central
Georgia, including the following areas, Berrien and Cook.

The flooding threat has ended. Therefore, the Flood Watch is being
cancelled.

...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast Alabama, including the following
  counties, Geneva, Henry and Houston and Georgia, including the
  following counties, Baker, Ben Hill, Calhoun, Clay, Colquitt,
  Dougherty, Early, Irwin, Lee, Miller, Mitchell, Quitman, Randolph,
  Terrell, Tift, Turner and Worth.

* WHEN...Through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains
  and ditches may become clogged with debris.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Additional heavy rainfall up to 2 to 3 inches in the watch
    area through Wednesday evening, with localized amounts up to
    6 inches possible, focused mainly during the afternoon and
    evening hours each day. Dangerous flash flooding will be
    possible where localized higher amounts occur, especially
    where heavy rainfall has already occurred over the past few
    days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
