Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with the occasional height of the average highest 1/10 of the waves. Fresh to strong southerly breezes continue over waters today due to the tight pressure gradient between high pressure to the east and a cold front to our northwest. Gusts of 25-30 kt are likely this afternoon. The cold front enters our region tonight and clears the area by Monday night. Showers and thunderstorms are likely with the front, some of which may be strong to severe. Borderline advisory level conditions are expected ahead of the front tonight, but we should see another bout of advisory- level northwesterly winds behind the front Monday afternoon. Seas will remain around 4 to 7 feet.
