High tide along the coast of Wakulla and Jefferson Counties will occur around 1030 PM to 1100 PM EST this evening. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. For the High Surf Advisory, from 5 PM this afternoon to 1 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Surf heights will build rapidly this morning, with surf heights of up to 6 feet are expected this evening.
