If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. ...Elevated fire weather conditions Monday in the northern Sacramento Valley due to low daytime humidity values and southerly wind gusts 15-25 mph... .DISCUSSION... Warmer and drier conditions are expected today with a 20-40% chance of triple digit high temperatures. Winds will be similar compared to yesterday, with breezy northeasterly ridgetop winds in the morning, shifting to the southwest/upslope in the afternoon hours. Minimum relative humidities will be in the teens followed by poor overnight recoveries. On Monday, increased late day southerly winds gusting 15-20 mph and continued warm, dry weather will lead to elevated fire weather conditions for portions of the northern Sacramento Valley and surrounding lower foothills. There is also a less than 10% chance for isolated mountain thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening hours, but confidence is low. Temperatures cool off slightly on Tuesday, before a warming and drying trend resumes. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Sunny. Max temperature.....96-100. Min humidity........15-19 percent.
