...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of south central
Washington County through 730 PM MDT
...

At 704 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Washington, or 24 miles northeast of Virgin River Gorge, moving
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
St George, Washington, Hurricane, Sand Hollow State Park, and Quail
Creek State Park.

This includes Interstate 15 between mile markers 10 and 20.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
