...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of central Salt Lake,
southeastern Davis and southwestern Morgan Counties through 830 PM

...

At 751 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Kearns, or over West Valley City, moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Murray, Bountiful, West Jordan,
Taylorsville, Midvale, South Salt Lake, North Salt Lake, Centerville,
Woods Cross, West Bountiful, Kearns, Salt Lake City International
Airport, Oquirrh, Millcreek, Sugarhouse, and University Of Utah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
northern Utah.
