.DISCUSSION...Winds will generally remain out of the west this
morning and afternoon, beginning to increase to around 10-12mph by
1000-1100 with gusts up to 18-20mph possible. With the influence
of strong high pressure today, showers and thunderstorms appear
unlikely this afternoon. Winds begin to subside with westerly
drainage flow beginning around 2000-2100 this evening remaining
relatively calm throughout. Tomorrow, winds will once again see an
increase out of the west-southwest around 1000-1100 to around
10-13mph with gusts up to 20mph possible. There is some
uncertainty surrounding convection tomorrow, though some scattered
showers and thunderstorms are possible beginning as early as 1600.
Gusty and erratic winds with lightning are possible near and
within these storms.
