.DISCUSSION...Moisture will continually increase through the overnight
hours, bringing a chance of light rain showers. For Wednesday, a
cold front will push into the southern Salt Lake valley from the
south to southwest through the late morning hours. Expect rain
showers to increase in coverage and intensity as this boundary
moves over the burn area, alongside a shift in winds to the
southwesterly direction. The strongest winds of the day (outside
of any outflow winds) should be anticipated at the time of the
frontal passge. The current most likely time of arrival of the
shifting winds will be between 1100-1300. Area showers will
continue through much of the daytime and overnight hours heading
into Thursday, with snow mixing in at times. Little to no snow
accumulation is expected over the burn. Much cooler temperatures
and higher humidity will prevail through Thursday alongside a
continued chance for area rain showers.
