.DISCUSSION...Transitory high pressure will build into the area
today...with high-based showers staying largely to the north. An
upper level disturbance will approach the area Saturday...with
additional high-based showers developing during the afternoon.
Gusty, microburst winds are possible with any high-based showers.
A strong cold front will cross the area between 0600-1200 Sunday
morning, bringing a period of moderate to occasionally heavy snow
and much colder temperatures. Periods of snow will transition to
snow showers Sunday afternoon, with another round of snow expected
early Monday morning into Monday afternoon.

Storm total snow accumulation is expected to range from 2 to 4
inches.
