Dry conditions are overwhelmingly favored to persist, with afternoon high temperatures pushing into the mid 90s. Winds will follow a largely typical daytime pattern, with magnitudes increasing into the afternoon and favoring a more southerly directional component. Some gusts in the 20-25 mph will be possible through the afternoon. The lake breeze may push to the southern end of the valley by late afternoon to early evening, allowing a shift to more northerly or variable winds, though magnitudes look likely to decrease if anything. Thereafter, a period of more light and variable winds is expected before southerly flow is once again better established through the overnight hours. .REST OF TODAY...
