.DISCUSSION...The next round of moisture will move into the area
overnight bringing a round of showers along with a slight chance
of thunderstorms. These showers will largely taper off Saturday
morning, with scattered showers (40% chance) hanging around
through mid afternoon. A strong cold front will cross the area
between 1700 and 1900 Saturday. Showers and thunderstorms will
increase ahead of this front, mainly after 1500, with a band
of heavier showers and thunderstorms accompanying the frontal
passage. Colder air will move into the area behind the front
allowing for a transition to snow by late evening. Any accumulation
will be limited to an inch or two. A drier and more stable airmass
will follow for Sunday.
