Dry conditions prevail across the area through tonight, but will come to an end early Thursday morning as tropical moisture overspreads southern Utah. This will result in showery conditions developing early Thursday morning before heavier rainfall moves into the region late Thursday morning through the remainder of the day. This wet pattern will continue through at least Saturday, with periods of moderate to heavy rainfall expected through this period. Any thunderstorms that develop through this period will be capable of producing gusty and erratic outflow winds. There is an 80% chance to exceed 1" of rain between Thursday and Saturday, a 60% chance to exceed 2", and a 15% chance to exceed 3". .TONIGHT...
