.DISCUSSION...Breezy southerly winds are expected to taper after
sunset tonight, eventually becoming easterly overnight. Dry
conditions prevail across the area through tonight, but will
come to an end early Thursday morning as tropical moisture
overspreads southern Utah. This will result in showery conditions
developing early Thursday morning before heavier rainfall moves
into the region late Thursday morning through the remainder of the
day. This wet pattern will continue through at least Saturday,
with periods of moderate to heavy rainfall expected through this
period. Any thunderstorms that develop through this period will be
capable of producing gusty and erratic outflow winds. There is an
80% chance to exceed 1" of rain between Thursday and Saturday, a
60% chance to exceed 2", and a 15% chance to exceed 3".

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (25-35 percent cloud cover).
                    Chance of showers and thunderstorms after
                    3 am.
Chance of pcpn......30 percent.
Min temperature.....47-49.
Max humidity........70-72 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Southwest winds 7-10 mph, then becoming light
                    3-6 mph after 7 pm. Light winds shift east
                    after 2 am. Gusty and erratic winds expected

                    rain showers likely and chance of thunderstorms
                    through the remainder of the day.
