If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...High pressure will be in place today and tomorrow, resulting in very hot and dry conditions with generally light winds. High temperatures will be near 100F both this afternoon and tomorrow. Isolated showers have developed over the higher terrain today, and will also do so tomorrow afternoon into the early evening. Given light winds, there is only a small chance (5-10%) that these storms will drift off the terrain and impact the event. Temperatures will decrease Wednesday into Thursday as moisture increases over the area. This will bring an increased threat of showers and thunderstorms that could produce gusty winds and lightning. There is a 20-30% chance of storms impacting the event Wednesday afternoon into the early evening and a 30-40% chance of storms impacting the evening Thursday afternoon into the early evening. Showers will tend to dissipate during the early evening and will not be an impact during the overnight and morning hours. Drier conditions will move in beginning Friday. .REST OF TODAY...
