If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service. .DISCUSSION...Monsoonal moisture lingering over the area Saturday will result in the potential for another more active day before a gradual drying trend begins to set in Sunday. Given current radar and model trends, expect potential for some isolated showers to lift through the area after sunrise and through the morning, giving way to more scattered convective development on through the afternoon. Given the abundance of moisture, thunderstorms in the afternoon will be capable of periods of moderate to heavy rainfall in addition to lightning and gusty erratic outflow winds. A few showers and a thunderstorm or two may linger into the evening hours, but largely expect to see the coverage and strength of activity decrease with loss of daytime heating. The the pattern shifting will allow a drying trend Sunday, it still appears sufficient moisture will linger such that daytime heating will be capable to trigger some isolated showers and thunderstorms. Aside from influence from precipitation, winds are expected to follow a standard terrain driven direction pattern (up-terrain late morning through the day, down-terrain evening through the overnight). .REST OF TODAY...
