.DISCUSSION...Moisture will spread over the fire area through the remainder of
the evening and overnight hours, bringing upwards of a 50-60%
chance of wetting rains. Through Tuesday, winds will remain out of
the south ahead of the next cold front which is expected to track
over the fire by Wednesday evening. Until then, little change in
temperatures are expected to be seen in the higher elevations,
though humidity will be on an upward trend as moisture increases
ahead of this next storm system. For the day on Tuesday,
anticipate a mostly dry day with a low to medium chance for a
stray shower and/or thunderstorm. From Tuesday evening through
Wednesday morning there will be upwards of a 40-50% chance of
wetting rains as the cold front moves through. Cooler temperatures
and higher humidity prevail through Thursday before warming and
drying through the remainder of the week and into the weekend.
