...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 9 PM MDT
TUESDAY...

.DISCUSSION...A warm and dry airmass will remain in place through
at least the first half of the week. West to southwest winds will
increase this afternoon into this evening as a weak but dry
weather disturbance grazes northwest Utah. Wind gusts are likely
to exceed your 20 mph threshold this afternoon, especially the
second half of the afternoon and into the evening hours, but only
a 25 percent chance of exceeding 30 mph. After decreasing late in
the evening and overnight, winds are expected to pick up again
tomorrow afternoon, with similar to potentially slightly stronger
speeds and gusts. A Red Flag Warning is in effect this afternoon
into tomorrow evening due to gusty winds in excess of 25 mph and
very low humidities creating critical fire weather conditions.
