National Weather Service Doppler Radar showed showers and
thunderstorms over the Mona Channel and the outer Atlantic waters
with frequent lightning, gust winds and locally heavy showers
limiting visibilities to 1 mile or less. The showers have been
diminishing in strength, but are particularly strong just
southwest of Cabo Rojo and about 15-20 milles northeast of San
Juan.

Mariners are urged to avoid these thunderstorms for the next few
