A favorable weather pattern for the development of showers and
thunderstorms will evolve across the regional waters, extending
into at least the evening. Satellite and radar imagery indicated
showers and thunderstorms moving westward from the Anegada
Passage, near St. Croix, into local passages, coastal waters,
Atlantic Offshore Waters and moving from Puerto Rico into its
nearshore northern and northwestern waters.

Mariners can expect strong thunderstorms that will produce heavy
rain, frequent lightning, and gusty winds, causing hazardous
marine conditions for small craft operators.

Stay tuned as additional areas can be included as this activity
spreads to the rest of the regional waters.
