...STRONG T-STORMS OVER THE WATERS...

At 146 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These
thunderstorms were located over mainly areas of the Caribbean, Mona
Passage and the nearshore northern waters, moving northeast at 15
to 20 knots. Development of additional t-storms over the waters
is expected along with movement of current t-storms over the
offshore Atlantic Waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.

Intense lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.
