Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health systems and in heat-sensitive industries. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone particularly across the northwest to northeast beaches of Puerto Rico and Culebra. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Swells from distant cyclones will maintain a moderate to high risk of rip currents across the north and east facing beaches of the islands through the period. Excessive heat conditions will continue all week across the coastal and urban areas of the islands. Afternoon thunderstorm activity could produce gusty winds, and urban and small stream flooding over central and southern Puerto Rico. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
