This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Scattered thunderstorms possible across the interior
sections. Plan to stop all outdoor activity and move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across the
Atlantic Waters. Hazardous conditions for small craft.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone particularly along the north and east-facing beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Swells from distant cyclones will maintain a moderate to high
risk of rip currents across the north and east facing beaches,
and hazardous marine conditions through the period. Above normal
heat conditions will continue throughout the forecast period.
Afternoon thunderstorm activity could produce gusty winds, and
urban and small stream flooding each day.

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
