Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly drained areas. Urban and small streams flooding is possible. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and infrastructure. .Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across the Atlantic waters and local Caribbean passages. Hazardous conditions for small craft. .Rip Currents and other coastal hazards...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone, particularly across northwestern, northern, and northeastern Puerto Rico and Culebra. Additionally, dangerous swimming conditions are also likely across these areas, due to large breaking waves around 8 to 12 feet. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Warm-to-hot conditions will continue throughout the forecast period. Thunderstorm activity, particularly in the afternoon, could produce strong gusty winds, frequent lightning, and flooding impacts. Increasing thunderstorm activity is expected by Sunday into early next week. Swells from distant storms will continue to generate life-threatening rip currents and hazardous marine conditions through the long weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
