Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if storms develop. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding in urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes, particularly across interior to western/southwestern PR. There is a low chance of isolated flash floods. Elsewhere, plan for water ponding on roads and in poorly drained areas. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone. These life- threatening conditions are possible across north and east facing beaches of Puerto Rico and northern beaches of Culebra, with isolated stronger rip currents possible elsewhere, especially near piers, jetties and channels. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Limited excessive rainfall and lightning risk will persist through at least Thursday. High risk of rip currents persisting through Thursday evening for the north and east facing beaches of Puerto Rico and northern beaches of Culebra. Moderate risk of rip currents possible through Saturday, and then Monday and Tuesday across north- oriented beaches.Non- thunderstorm limited wind risk possible across the local waters mainly early next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Moderate risk of rip currents possible through Friday, and then Monday and Tuesday across most local beaches.
