This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible.
Strong gusty winds and small hail are also possible with the most
severe thunderstorms. Plan to stop all outdoor activity and move
to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, and small
streams. Isolated flash floods are possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across
the Atlantic waters and local Caribbean passages. Hazardous
conditions for small craft.

.Rip Currents and other coastal hazards...Life-threatening rip
currents and dangerous swimming conditions are likely in the surf
zone, particularly along the north coast of Puerto Rico.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Swells from distant cyclones will maintain life-threatening rip
currents across the north and east facing beaches, and hazardous
marine conditions through early next week. Warm-to-hot conditions
will continue throughout the forecast period. Thunderstorm
activity, particularly in the afternoon, could produce strong
gusty winds, frequent lightning, and flooding impacts each day.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

drained areas. Minor flooding is possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across
the Atlantic waters and local Caribbean passages. Hazardous
conditions for small craft.
