.DISCUSSION...This is an update to the earlier forecast: Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms remain possible, but the chance
of precipitation has increased to 50%. Radar and satellite
imagery shows a rise in fragmented moisture across the region,
supporting an increase in shower activity, particularly over
northeastern Puerto Rico. Light easterly winds and moderate
humidity will continue to push feel-like temperatures to around
90F or slightly higher, especially for those working outdoors or
engaging in strenuous activities. While rainfall may bring brief
relief from the heat, slow-moving showers could lead to hazardous
conditions such as wet roadways and reduced visibility. Limited
flooding impacts are possible across the area.
