.DISCUSSION...
A surge in low-level moisture from the east is expected today
across the islands. Cloudiness and scattered showers are expected
to increase in general throughout the day. This will keep RH
levels at or above critical fire weather criteria. Wind speeds
will decrease in comparison to previous days, around 10-15 mph
under the influence of the sea breeze. The KBDI remains just under
500 in SW PR, however, at Maricao it was at 522, slowly
approaching 550 which is favorable for fire weather conditions.
