.SYNOPSIS FOR PUERTO RICO AND THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS WATERS...
A high pressure ridging over the Leeward Islands will maintain
gentle to moderate easterly winds over the weekend, then winds will
turn lighter and more from the northeast by early next week. A
northerly swell will maintain seas to around 4 to 6 feet through the
weekend. Shower and thunderstorm activity will continue across the
regional waters through much of the weekend as a tropical wave moves
away from our region.
