...Notable but below river flood levels expected on the San Saba
River...

For the San Saba River at Menard:
* At 700 AM CDT Friday the observed stage was 8.83 feet.
* Action Stage:   8.0 feet.
* Flood Stage:    18.0 feet.
* Forecast: The San Saba River at Menard is expected to rise to above
  Action Stage to 9.4 feet by 7 PM this evening. The river will
  remain above Action Stage through late tonight. The river will fall
  below Action Stage by sunrise tomorrow.

cable TV outlets, for the latest weather information, as additional
rainfall could affect crest forecasts.
