...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO 5 PM CDT
THIS AFTERNOON FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR MOST OF WEST
CENTRAL TEXAS...

The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Red Flag
Warning for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
from 11 AM this morning to 5 PM CDT this afternoon.

* AFFECTED AREA...Big Country, Heartland, eastern Concho Valley,
  Schleicher County, and Menard County.

* TIMING...From 11 AM this morning to 5 PM CDT this afternoon.

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fire that develops will catch and spread
  quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will occur shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels will contribute to
extreme fire behavior.
