The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Tom Green County in west central Texas...

* Until 1045 PM CDT.

* At 850 PM CDT, Radar indicated thunderstorms with very heavy rain
  over northern central Tom Green County from just west of Grape
  Creek, to just south of Orient. The storms were redeveloping
  across the same area. Radar estimated rainfall is between 1.5 and
  2.5 inches, and and additional 1 to 1.5 inches could occur. Flash
  flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Grape Creek and Orient.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
Walnut Drove crossing Grape Creek and Swain crossing Red Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
