...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING THROUGH FRIDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Callahan, Coke, Fisher, Haskell, Irion, Jones, Nolan,
  Runnels, Shackelford, Sterling, Taylor, Throckmorton and Tom Green.

* WHEN...From this evening through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
  crossings may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Numerous showers and thunderstorms are forecast to develop
    across the Big Country and western Concho Valley this evening
    into the afternoon hours Friday. Heavy rainfall is expected
    with 1 to 3 inches likely across the watch area, although
    localized amounts of 4 inches or more are possible.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
