...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN MCCURTAIN COUNTY...

At 727 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 18 miles north of
Broken Bow, or 24 miles northwest of De Queen, moving northeast at
45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
         to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Hochatown, Watson and Plunketville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

If on or near Pine Creek and Broken Bow Lakes, get away from the
water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can
strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear
thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to
safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm.
