...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN UNION COUNTY AND NORTHEASTERN UNION PARISH...

At 146 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles south of
Huttig, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
         to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
  Huttig, Felsenthal, Litroe and Cecil.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning is one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can
hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
