OUACHITA AND EASTERN WINN PARISHES THROUGH 930 PM CDT...

At 854 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 14 miles west of Clarks to 9 miles west of
Midway to Elmer. Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Nebo, Urania, Vixen, Cloutierville, Bosco, Rogers, Catahoula Lake,
Riverton, Chopin, Standard, Dry Prong, Lake Iatt, Burlington, Clarks,
Olla, Pollock, Midway, Grayson, Williana, and Georgetown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for north
central and northwestern Louisiana.
