04/02/2025 Lafayette AR NWS Storm Survey
A brief EF-1 tornado with estimated maximum
winds near 95 mph touched down in a wooded
area just west of Highway 53, where multiple
trees were snapped and uprooted. The tornado
crossed Highway 53 where additional trees
were snapped and uprooted, before lifting.
The tornado patch length was 0.28 miles with
a path width of 75 yards.
