Temperatures this morning will start off in the mid 70s before reaching a high in the lower 90s by this afternoon. RH values will start off high this morning, as expected, before reaching a minimum of around 55 percent by this afternoon and then rising again heading into the evening. There is a very small chance, around 20 percent, for some thunderstorms to develop early this afternoon and into the early evening. Not too confident that this activity will impact you, but they are there nonetheless. Winds will be out of the southwest this morning before shifting to a more westerly wind by later this morning and into the early afternoon hours and then shifting back to the southwest by this evening. Sustained winds should remain light and generally under 5-6 mph and gusts will be around 10-12 mph by this afternoon. The one thing to keep in mind here is that should there be any thunderstorms that develop today in any part of central or southern Louisiana, they could kick off an outflow boundary that could impact these winds. Mixing heights will be around 5000 to 5500 feet this afternoon. Hope you all have a great day! .TODAY...
