Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Arkansas...
Northwest Louisiana...East Texas...and Extreme Southeast Oklahoma
National Weather Service Shreveport LA
244 PM CDT Thu Mar 27 2025

.DISCUSSION...

As we move into the evening and overnight hours tonight, light
precip and low clouds will move into the fire districts, especially
across locations west of I-49. Southerly winds will also be on
the increases from the south as we move into Friday, but gusts
should stay just below 20 mph. Rain chances will expand eastward
into the remainder of the fire districts and increase in chances
as we move into Friday. Expect likely showers and thunderstorms
all day tomorrow, as a disturbance moves over the region. An
isolated strong to severe thunderstorm can`t be rule out, along
with locally heavy rainfall. These rain chances will remain into
Saturday, eventually clearing from west to east by Saturday
evening. /20/
